Many people start with peptides because they're easy to tolerate. If you later want to add retinol, the two can work well together: peptides in the morning, retinol at night.

How to use a peptide serum

A serum works best on clean skin, before heavier creams:

  1. Cleanse your face and pat it dry.

  2. Apply 2–3 drops of serum to your face and neck.

  3. Press it in gently with your fingertips. There's no need to rub.

  4. Follow with moisturiser to lock in hydration.

  5. In the morning, finish with SPF. Sun protection is the most important anti-aging step of all.

You can use a peptide serum morning and evening. Consistency matters more than quantity.

What can you combine peptides with?

Works well with: hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, ceramides, moisturisers and SPF.

Use with care: strong exfoliating acids (AHA/BHA) applied at the same moment may reduce how well some peptides work. If you use acids, apply them at a different time of day or on alternate evenings.

When will you see results?

Your skin renews itself in cycles of roughly four weeks. Most people notice their skin feeling smoother and more hydrated within the first couple of weeks, while changes in the look of fine lines and firmness usually take 6–8 weeks of daily use.

Taking a photo in the same light on day one and again after six weeks is the easiest way to see your progress honestly.

Can I use peptides every day?Yes. Peptides are gentle enough for daily use, morning and evening.

Do peptides replace sunscreen? No. Daily SPF remains the most effective way to protect your skin from premature aging.
